Registered Nurse (RN), Medical Telemetry, Full-Time, Night

Conduct clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, fostering patient/family centered care while demonstrating competency in evidence-based practices. Perform direct patient care consistent with the nursing plan, assess and recognize changes in patient status, and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Monitor quality of care, ensure patient safety, and coordinate tasks to incorporate cost containment principles. Document progress toward discharge goals, provide patient education, and complete assigned performance improvement monitoring and audits. Report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team and adhere to all compliance policies, including licensure renewal and infection control protocols. Work night shifts at Blount Memorial Hospital, with potential weekend, holiday, and on-call requirements.
