Job Summary
Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Monitor and record patient conditions while communicating updates to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assist patients with activities of daily living such as hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient transfers, discharge planning, and spiritual support. Evaluate patient and family learning needs to provide appropriate education. Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients. Requires a current Michigan RN license, AHA BLS certification, and one year of medical-surgical experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current Michigan RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- 1 year of Medical/Surgical experience
