Job Summary
Provide quality nursing care on the Medical-Surgical Unit-I night shift in collaboration with the medical staff, implementing the Hospital's mission through established policies and performance improvement activities. Assess each patient's age-specific needs and determine treatment modalities based on principles of growth and development. Implement individualized care for patients within the assigned unit while adhering to the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. Night shift coverage from 7:00pm to 7:00am with part-time status and every other weekend rotation. Requires an active NJ RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- NJ RN license
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Enrollment in BSN program
- Active NJ RN License
- BLS certification through American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- Complete 8 hours of continuing education in the area of cerebrovascular disease annually
- Night Shift
- Part Time
- Every other weekend
