Job Summary
Provide quality nursing care on the Medical-Surgical Unit-I night shift, implementing individualized age-specific professional nursing care for patients while adhering to the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. Collaborate with the medical staff to assess patient needs based on growth and development principles and determine appropriate treatment modalities. Ensure organization and administration of care within established hospital policies and performance improvement activities. Night shift coverage from 7:00pm to 7:00am with part-time status and rotation to every other weekend. Requires active NJ RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- NJ RN license
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Enrollment in BSN program
- Active NJ RN License
- BLS certification through American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- Complete 8 hours of continuing education in the area of cerebrovascular disease annually
- Night Shift – 7:00pm – 7:00am
- Part Time
- Every other weekend required
- Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs
- Excellent verbal communication skills

- Demonstrated writing skills
