Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for acute patients from admission through discharge or transfer. Provide expert care and education to patients while acting as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. Manage patient loads within assigned timelines and apply knowledge of clinical procedures, disease processes, and pharmacological agents. Utilize specialized plan-of-care interventions to serve as a patient-care innovator and shape exceptional patient journeys daily. Schedule consists of two 12-hour shifts per week starting at 0700, with every third weekend and holidays included. Requires current state RN license, one year of acute care experience, and BLS upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
- ACLS and NIHSS within three (3) months of hire
- One (1) year of acute care experience
- COVID-19 vaccination unless a documented medical or religious exemption is approved
- Subject to Drug and Alcohol Testing according to MT Law 39-2-205-39-2-211
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Two (2) to Three (3) years of acute care experience
- Med/Surg certification
