Job Summary
Conduct patient care on a 35-bed medical telemetry unit serving as a stroke overflow facility with a partnership cohorting patients from Christiana Care Hospitalist Partners. Manage patients across diverse diagnoses and age groups while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, anticipating needs, and prioritizing tasks with strong critical thinking. Work the night shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on a 24-hour-per-week schedule, with weekends and holidays per department guidelines. Maintain a current Delaware RN license or eligibility, holding BLS certification and preferring 1-2 years of med-surg experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current Delaware RN license or eligibility for Delaware RN license
- BLS required
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire can be considered with relevant experience
- 1-2 years med/surg experience preferred
- Telemetry experience a plus
- Excellent partnership within and across disciplines
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization
