Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Stepdown at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. Schedule: Full-Time, 36 hours/week, Day shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM). Responsible for using the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating patient care with other departments, and upholding Mercy Service Standards. Sign-On Bonus: Experienced Nurses up to $10,000; New Graduate Nurses (less than 1 year) up to $5,000. Education paths include ADN, Nursing Diploma, or BSN; active MO RN license or compact licensure required; BLS certification required (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire
