Job Summary
Registered Nurse I in the Medical Step Down Unit delivers high-quality, patient-centered clinical care and conducts initial and ongoing patient assessments. The role collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to develop and document individualized plans of care, ensures compliance with safety and documentation policies, updates plans based on ongoing evaluation, and completes at least one clinical research utilization form for Nursing Research. The position requires maintaining BLS certification and meeting annual continuing education requirements; a NYS RN license is required, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred and 6 months RN experience preferred. This is a full-time Day shift role at Rochester General Hospital with a 36-hour work week and a pay range of $39.75-$52.99 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse license in New York State
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
