Job Summary
A Registered Nurse in Medical Outpatient Services providing plan-of-care interventions (medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments), documenting care timely and accurately, monitoring and communicating patient status, coordinating across disciplines, delivering age/culture-appropriate patient/family education, advocating for patients' physical and emotional well-being, participating in performance improvement and continuing education, and potentially taking on-call assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Current VA RN license or compact state
- Bachelors degree preferred but not required
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Experience in acute care hospital preferred
