Registered Nurse (RN)- Medical Nursing Unit

Registered Nurse (RN) on Acute Care Medicine units provides ongoing assessment and care planning, implements and evaluates plans of care, may supervise non‐RN personnel, and can serve as Charge Nurse. Demonstrates competency in neuro patient care and neuro assessment, airway management, suctioning (pharyngeal/endotracheal/tracheostomy), and care for patients on ventilators. Documents outcomes, educates patients and families, collaborates with the healthcare team, and participates in discharge planning. Requires at least RN licensure and ability to use electronic patient records; operates under the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator and may work on other units as needed.
