Registered Nurse (RN)- Medical Nursing Unit

Registered Nurse on Medicine units at Yale New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael Campus. Responsibilities include assessing the patient's physical and psychosocial condition, developing, documenting and communicating a Plan of Care with involvement from patient and family, coordinating care with the healthcare team, supervising non-RN personnel, and acting as Charge Nurse. Demonstrates neuro-specific nursing skills (neuro assessment, airway management, suctioning for neuro patients) and supports clinicians during neuro procedures. Provides education and documentation of outcomes, participates in discharge planning, and adheres to unit policies. Requires a nursing degree from an accredited school and a Connecticut RN license; proficient with electronic patient records.
