Job Summary
Registered Nurse on Acute Care Medicine units; assesses, plans, implements, evaluates patient care; provides supervision of non-RN personnel; acts as Charge Nurse; demonstrates skill in neuro assessment, airway management, suctioning for neuro patients, and care of patients on ventilators; collaborates with healthcare team to develop and document a Plan of Care and facilitates discharge planning. Requires CT RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- Valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- Proficient in use of Computer Software including Electronic Patient Records
