Registered Nurse (RN)- Medical Nursing Unit

Registered Nurse (RN) on a high-acuity Medical Nursing Unit focused on cardiac and pulmonary cases. The unit emphasizes full head-to-toe nursing assessments, management of cardiac drips, interrogation of cardiac devices, pre/post-procedural care including cardiac catheterization, pacemaker/ICD placement, ablation and revascularization, telemetry monitoring, and EMR documentation. Strong communication and teamwork are essential with the Heart and Vascular Institute procedural area; frequent collaboration with the care team to develop and execute individualized care plans, discharge instructions, and safe transitions for adult patients (over 17) with varied cardiopulmonary conditions.
