Job Summary
Lead interdisciplinary rounds to facilitate care appropriateness and smooth transitions, while consistently providing direct and safe patient care based on the nursing process. Coordinate care for assigned patients on 12-hour morning and evening shifts to promote clinical outcomes, actively participating in unit councils to improve nursing-sensitive indicators and patient experience data. Provide mentorship to new graduate clinical nurses, assume a beginning clinical bedside leadership role, and apply evidence-based practice to address clinical, social, and ethical issues within the episode of care.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia
- Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma
- At least 1 year of RN experience
- Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations
- Meets experience requirements upon hire
- Up to 100 lbs weight lifted
