Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Medical ICU with Neuro ICU focus for weekend night shifts. Manages ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and supervision of patient care per unit policies; provides supervision of non-RN personnel; acts as charge nurse as needed; participates in care planning and discharge readiness; demonstrates skills in neuro assessment, airway management for neuro patients, and procedures such as pharyngeal, endotracheal, and tracheostomy suctioning; operates with ventilated patients and adheres to documentation and performance expectations. Requires nursing degree from an accredited program and an active nursing license (Connecticut RN license noted); 1 year NICU RN experience expected; proficient with electronic patient records and literature searches.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- 1 Year Neonatal ICU RN experience required
- Proficient In Use Of Computer Software To Include Electronic Patient Records
- Must Have Ability To Use Internet For Literature Searches Regarding Care For Patients
