Registered Nurse RN Med Tele Belton

Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Medical Telemetry unit with continuous cardiac and telemetry monitoring. Interpret cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient status, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care. Administer medications, manage IVs and central lines within scope, perform wound care, and follow sepsis and stroke protocols. Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record; coordinate admissions, discharges, and patient education to support safe transitions of care. Mentor nursing students and new team members, participate in shared governance and unit-based councils, and engage in ongoing professional development, including competencies, certifications, and continuing education. Contribute to performance improvement, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
