Job Summary
Progressive Care (Step down) RN delivering comprehensive nursing care in Med-Surg/PCU: perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, coordinate care across hospital departments, administer medications safely, act as patient safety advocate, participate in quality improvement, collaborate with interdisciplinary team, and provide leadership in patient management. Requires 1 year RN experience, RN license, BLS (and ACLS preferred with ACLS completion within 6 months); BSN preferred. Night shift, full-time (36 hrs/week) with weekend responsibilities and premium weekend incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- BLS Basic Life Support or ACLS (preferred at hire, ACLS required within 6 months of hire)
- 1 year RN experience (required)
- RN education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred (not required)
- Night shift availability and weekend coverage may be required
