Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg

Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Document patient care, monitor conditions, and communicate with the care team, physicians, patients, and families. Assist with activities of daily living such as hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Coordinate care across disciplines for transfers, discharges, and referrals while providing patient and family education. Advocate for physical and emotional well-being on a 24-bed acute care medical-surgical unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio. Shifts run 7P-7A in 3-12-hour blocks. Requires current VA or compact state license, Associate's degree in nursing, and BLS certification. Bachelor's degree preferred.
