Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg

Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and applicable standards. Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physician, and family. Assist patients with activities of daily living such as hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care, including transfers, discharge, and referrals. Evaluate learning needs and provide patient and family education. Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients. Requires current RN license in KY or compact state; new graduates may work under a provisional license for up to six months.
