Registered Nurse (RN), Med/Surg Post Surgical

Conduct postoperative assessments, perform wound care, and manage a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio on the 32-bed Post-Surgical Medical-Surgical Unit. Accurately perform patient assessments to identify medical-surgical needs, provide pain management, and document timely medical necessity in the medical record. Assist in multidisciplinary collaborations for patients recovering from general, orthopedic, and neurosurgical procedures. This role operates on a rotating 3x12 night schedule (7p-7a) with weekends rotating. Applicants require an Associate's Degree in Nursing, current Alabama or compact RN license, and Basic Life Support certification.
