Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate safe patient care for assigned patients within the Medical/Surgical Unit. Direct patient and family teaching while guiding activities of other nursing personnel to maintain standards of care. Communicate with physicians regarding changes in clinical conditions, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to patient condition changes or treatment responses. Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications. Per Diem schedule with Days shift.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred
- Ventilator Management experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
