Registered Nurse (RN), Med/Surg Overflow

Registered Nurse on a 32-bed Post-Surgical Overflow Medical-Surgical Unit. Responsibilities include accurate patient assessments, postoperative assessments, wound care, and timely documentation of medical necessity in the medical record. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6. Schedule is 3x12 days from 7a-7p with rotating weekends. Job offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for well-qualified applicants. Requires an Alabama or compact-state RN license and an Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred. Basic Life Support is required; ACLS/PALS and Handle with Care are preferred. New grads are welcome to apply.
