Job Summary
Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for complex total knee, hip, shoulder post-op patients, generalized fractures, and medical surgical cases including COPD, GI bleeds, hernia repairs, and urological patients. Delegate aspects of nursing care to other personnel based on licensure and preparation while contributing to facility mission and Joint Commission requirements. Requires BSN or ADN degree, current nursing licensure, and BCLS certification within one month. Full-time day/night rotation with no call obligation.
Required Qualifications
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
- Every third weekend and holiday
- Day/Night Rotation
- Shift Start Time: 7:00 am and 7:30 am
- Shift End Time: 7:30 pm and 7:30 am
- Verification of legal right to work in the United States
- Health screening and immunization review
- Verification of applicable licensure, certifications, education, and experience
- Background checks including criminal, urine drug screen and MVR where required
