Job Summary
Deliver exceptional bedside care to medical-surgical and orthopedic patients by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing wound care and post-operative treatments. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care plans while educating patients and families on recovery and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate documentation, uphold safety standards, and support hospital initiatives focused on continuous improvement. Requires current Florida RN license, BLS certification, and minimum one year of acute care experience with orthopedic specialization. Full-time, 12-hour rotating shifts with available days or nights.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
- Current RN license in Florida or Compact State
- Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience (acute care, LTACH, rehab, or home health accepted)
- Orthopedic experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent physical activity
- ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
