Registered Nurse RN Med Surg

Deliver patient-centered care as a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg unit. Assess the patient’s condition on admission and during each scheduled shift; perform procedures and administer prescribed medications with thorough documentation in the medical record; educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up measures; proactively respond to patient needs and collaborate with the care team to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes. Follow established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage and advocate for patients, families, and caregivers throughout the care journey. Requires Basic Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
