Registered Nurse RN - Med Oncology - PRN Nights

Manage complex patient assignments in Med Oncology, delivering safe direct care based on the nursing process and coordinating interdisciplinary efforts. Accurately document the nursing process in the electronic medical record, administer medications following the 5 rights, and adjust care plans based on patient response to interventions. Recognize signs of deteriorating status, anticipate changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns using the chain of command when acting as Nurse in Charge. Participate in discharge planning, maintain compliance with DNV standards, and contribute to unit goals through shared governance councils and quality improvement initiatives. Requires Georgia RN licensure and one year of professional experience; new graduates will be referred to the RN Residency Program.
