Job Summary
Conduct critical care step-down nursing on the 7 West unit, managing patients with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis. Interpret EKGs, manage central lines, and operate rescue Bi-pap and high-flow oxygen systems. Assist with bedside procedures including endoscopies and bronchoscopies while collaborating with PCNAs, nurse interns, and providers. Perform duties across a rotating 7a-7p or 7p-7a schedule with weekend and holiday rotations, adhering to a 72-hour bi-weekly workload. Requires current Ohio RN licensure, AHA BLS, and ACLS certifications, with one year of relevant experience for PRN roles.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation)
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
- Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
- 1 year of relevant RN experience
- all required certifications upon hire
