Job Summary
Provide nursing care for residents in residential settings, including physical health assessments, infection control, medication administration, documentation, and coordination of medical services. Administer prescribed medications, review orders and MAR/EMAR sheets, ensure accuracy of CareSuite records, attend hospitalizations and discharges or coordinate RN coverage, oversee AMAPs and the Medical Liaison in medication administration, participate in case reviews, respond to incidents with medical follow-up, and maintain an on-call triage schedule. Requires NYS RN licensure and an Associate’s degree in Nursing; preferred BSN and related experience with developmental disabilities. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and communicate effectively with residents and health professionals. Scips and OPWDD trainings are required; on-site, full-time role in Rush, NY and West Henrietta, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from a two-year college or university in Nursing
- Certified by NYS as a Registered Nurse
