Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – Mankato, MN serves in a reproductive and sexual health program under RN licensure, performing routine health center duties, patient history review, labs, contraceptive education and supplies, inventory management, and supporting clinicians. Responsibilities include conducting patient history reviews, performing and processing labs, providing education on birth control options, ensuring HIPAA-compliant documentation, assisting with ultrasound and venipuncture, coordinating patient care within Planned Parenthood North Central States guidelines, and providing non-directive information about options in unintended pregnancy and abortion. Travel to Rochester, MN 1-2x per month is required with travel time paid and mileage reimbursement; schedule is part-time with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certificate for healthcare providers
