Job Summary
Provides patient care in the operating room using the nursing process, maintains professional accountability for patient care, coordinates patient care with other departments, and ensures patient rights and confidentiality. Requires RN licensure in the hiring state/compact and BLS (with possible additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, and related unit certifications). Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
- RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Certification options as required by unit (ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, etc.) or as required by department/unit
