Job Summary
Delivers nursing care by developing a nursing diagnosis; establishing nursing care objectives; defining nursing interventions; providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents, families, and friends to understand residents conditions, medications, and self-care skills; noting changing conditions and needs; re-evaluating care objectives. Responsibilities include reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating the nursing care plan to the health care team; coordinating with other providers; developing nursing care plans by obtaining histories, examining residents, documenting status, and establishing goals; teaching residents and families about care requirements; evaluating care against standards; maintaining infection-control practices, medication procedures, and compliance; ensuring equipment readiness and supplies; coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers; directing workflow of nursing assistants; maintaining competence and adhering to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications

- An active license in the state of practice
