Job Summary
Develop nursing care plans by obtaining medical histories, examining residents, and defining interventions while providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support. Coordinate workflow with nursing assistants and other healthcare providers, review physician prescriptions, and communicate care objectives to families. Evaluate resident conditions against standards, maintain infection-control protocols, and manage resident care equipment and supplies. Adhere to CMS, The Joint Commission, and OSHA safety principles while working rotating shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire
- The individual must be able to work the hours specified
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- The ability to communicate effectively with others
- The ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years Experience working in a clinical or long term care environment
