Job Summary
Review physician prescriptions and develop nursing care plans by obtaining medical histories, examining residents, and establishing diagnoses with clear objectives and interventions. Provide physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents, families, and friends while teaching self-care skills and medication management. Evaluate resident care by measuring health outcomes against standards, modifying care plans as conditions change, and coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers. Maintain safe environments through infection control protocols, medication administration, and equipment maintenance, while directing nursing assistants and ensuring workflow efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Active license in the state of practice upon hire
