Job Summary
Deliver day-to-day care to residents at the 60-bed facility, supervising LPNs and CNAs while administering medications and treatments as ordered. Participate in direct resident care, ensuring compliance with nursing practices, laws, and regulations governing long-term care facilities. Maintain effective communication with diverse individuals and understand written and oral instructions. Work part-time shifts from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm with every other weekend required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an ASN or BSN degree from an accredited college
- Must have active RN licensure in the state of Virginia
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals
- Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions
- Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing in a long-term care facility
- Part-Time: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm with every other weekend required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care preferred
