Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health & Hospice: Provides skilled nursing care in patients' homes under physician direction, including assessments, care planning, medication administration, education for patients and families, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team. Hospice focus includes pain and symptom management and end-of-life care, with responsibilities spanning wound care, IV therapy, documentation, and ensuring compliance with Medicare/Medicaid and agency guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- RN license in Texas (current and active)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience: 1 year nursing experience preferred; Home Health and/or Hospice experience preferred
- Preferred: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Knowledge of Medicare and home health regulations preferred
- Valid Texas Driver License and reliable transportation; Auto insurance required
- Wound care, IV therapy, and patient assessment experience preferred
