Job Summary
Perform comprehensive patient health assessments by interpreting conflicting data sets and synthesize interrelationships to formulate individualized plans of care. Support and empower patients and families throughout the healthcare continuum while advocating for their rights and resolving issues. Anticipate ethical, spiritual, and cultural needs, and assist staff in assessing learning requirements. Requires minimum of 1 year of direct Operating Room experience and BSN or ADN with Virginia licensure. Full-time day shift (3/12hr, 7am–7pm) with call at Inova Loudoun Hospital's Level 2 Trauma Center.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of direct Operating Room (OR) experience as a Registered Nurse
- BSN or ADN from an accredited school of nursing
- Must complete BSN within 5 years of start date (if holding an Associate's Degree)
- Must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support with American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of RN scrub experience
