Job Summary
Deliver quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility under the direction of the Director of Nursing. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care; perform direct patient care per established policies; develop and implement nursing care plans; document nursing notes accurately; perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned. Requires RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and 1-5 years of LTC experience preferred. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods, and work variable hours including nights, holidays, and weekends. Must relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset individuals within the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse License issued by the State
