Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Labor Pool for the ER conducts thorough assessments, develops and implements patient care plans, and evaluates outcomes per nursing standards and protocols. This role involves collaborating with patients, families, and a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate transitions of care, ensuring quality, evidence-based practices are met. Essential skills include effective communication and critical thinking to address diverse patient populations and delivering patient education. Candidates must possess an RN Degree and relevant certifications, including CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Required Qualifications
- RN Degree (Required)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Department of Health Professions (Required)
- CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required)
- ACLS Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required within 90 days of hire)
- PALS Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required within 120 days of hire)
