Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery: Provides direct nursing care in Labor & Delivery using the nursing process, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring safe, therapeutic, and holistic patient/family care. Demonstrates leadership by guiding team members, mentoring colleagues, and delegating appropriately. Administers chemotherapy and blood components as prescribed, conducts nursing assessments, triages patient needs, and delivers patient/family education. Maintains compliance with policies, emphasizes safety, and supports professional growth through unit-specific certifications and ongoing learning.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Associate Degree Nursing
- Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing Kansas or Missouri (or compact license)
- CPR/ AED/ BLS - Other BLS within 14 days
