Registered Nurse (RN) (Labor & Delivery, Recovery, & Postpartum LDRP)

Provide culturally sensitive nursing care to assigned patients in Labor & Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum, administering medications and performing fetal monitoring. Scrub in for cesarean sections as a circulator, anticipating surgeon needs and managing instruments. Evaluate patient conditions, recognize emergencies, and take immediate appropriate actions while documenting assessments and nursing interventions. Function as a Resource Nurse in the absence of the Clinical Leader, delegate care to non-professional caregivers, and mentor students and new staff. Participate in unit conferences to discuss quality issues and implement improvement strategies. Achieve required certifications including CPR, ACLS, IV, NRP, and Basic Fetal Monitoring within six months of orientation.
