Job Summary
PRN night-shift Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Applies nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care; monitors patient conditions; administers medications and therapies according to clinical protocols; collaborates with care team; ensures safety and accurate EHR documentation; may float to other units within the service area; demonstrates strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills; requires active RN license (BSN preferred) and BLS; minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Education: Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program
- Experience: typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing
- BSN preferred
