Job Summary
Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in labor and delivery during night shifts, adhering to facility policies, standards, and the Patient Centered Care philosophy. Offer professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while overseeing and guiding employees under supervision. Demonstrate Service Excellence standards consistently across all interactions. Maintain current RN licensure in Nevada along with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications as required. Work within a 336-bed facility part of the Valley Health System, recognized as a High Performing Hospital for Maternity Care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Completion of a Specialty course
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (adult patients)
- Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients)
- Current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients)
