Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – Obstetrics (OB) – St. Francis Medical Center located in Midlothian, VA. Provides episodic and inpatient obstetrical/women's health nursing care across pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and neonatal care, with triage, stabilization, resuscitation, and patient education as part of an interdisciplinary team. Requires current RN licensure in state, 1 year RN experience, and eligibility for BLS; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS; NRP preferred within 3 months of hire; EPIC/EHR experience and fetal monitoring certification preferred. Shift: Evenings/Nights; Schedule: 36 hours per week. Includes competitive benefits and a Mission-driven work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- One year of professional RN experience
- Graduate of an accredited Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- BLS (preferred on hire; must obtain prior to direct patient care)
- ACLS (acceptable in lieu of BLS)
- NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program (preferred within 3 months of hire)
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification - NNC (preferred)
