Job Summary
RN in Labor and Delivery responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for women and newborns in a Magnet-designated Level II unit. Provides direct patient care, coordinates with multidisciplinary team, plans discharge, delegates and supervises activities, and ensures documentation and communication to support quality outcomes. Requires active RN license, BLS, and at least one year of acute care experience; preferred Bachelor’s degree and professional certification. Night shift with differential offered in a high-volume maternity service environment with emphasis on evidence-based practice, shared leadership, and mentoring of staff.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice
- BLS certification is required
- Experience in the clinical area for which applying is desired
- Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting
- In some Banner staffing roles may require additional state-specific clearance cards or licenses
