Job Summary
RN Labor and Delivery at Banner Ocotillo Medical Center in Chandler, AZ. Night shift (6 PM–6:30 AM) with three 12-hour shifts. Successful candidates will have labor and delivery experience and circulate/recover C-Sections, transition newborns in Antepartum/Postpartum settings, and work in a high-acuity Women and Infant Services unit staffed 24/7. Responsibilities include assessing patient and family needs, planning and implementing nursing care, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team, delegating and supervising care, documenting care, and educating patients and families. Opportunities to cross-train and expand specialty skills, strong emphasis on professional communication and teaching peers. Benefits include night differential and weekend differential; new graduates may search for RN New Grad openings separately. Requires ability to work in a high-volume obstetric environment with a comprehensive neonatal component and state-of-the-art technology.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in state of practice (or compact)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in Labor and Delivery or acute care obstetric setting
- Experience circulating and recovering C-Sections; Antepartum and Postpartum care
