Job Summary
Conduct nursing care for patients in the Medical ICU using the nursing process while collaborating with health care providers. Act as a patient advocate by delegating care and participating in performance and practice improvement activities. Maintain professional development within the scope of care defined by law while aligning with organizational missions and values. This role requires Ohio RN licensure, an accredited nursing degree, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, or PALS. A Bachelor of Science in nursing is preferred. The position offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for external candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if they are a new graduate nurse
- BLS certification
- ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire)
