Job Summary
Direct the daily activities of licensed practical/vocational nurses and certified nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Follow the nursing model to promote holistic care for residents while ensuring policies and procedures are complied with by assigned personnel. Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers as required, assessing changes in residents' status, notifying physicians and families, and transcribing medical orders. Maintain current CPR certification and an unrestricted RN license in the practicing state.
Required Qualifications
- A Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practicing state
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required
