Job Summary
Manage occupational illness and injuries through primary nursing care, including initial intake, assessment, monitoring, and follow-through for all patient processes. Deliver safe, appropriate care aligned with nursing skills inventory and patient needs while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team on clinical decisions. Provide counseling on health and work-related topics, ensuring full compliance with Texas Board of Nursing standards, safety plans, and quality assurance procedures. Maintain regular attendance and complete all assigned training within a dynamic team environment. Requires 8-10 years in occupational medicine or ambulatory care with a current Texas RN license, BLS, and preferred ACLS certification. Works Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm on a 9/80 schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing for Registered Nurse (RN)
- 8-10 years experience in occupational medicine or ambulatory care clinic
- Current State of Texas license to practice as an RN
- BLS – Basic Life Support
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance level as determined by the Company
- Responsible for compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental plan
- Must be committed to a high standard of safety
- Willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all of the Company's safety policies and rules
- Willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel
- Responsible for compliance with the Quality Assurance Plan, policies and procedures
- Ability to work within a dynamic team environment
- Excellent skills in both written and verbal communication
