Job Summary
Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs, consulting with Charge Nurse(s) as necessary. Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures. Count controlled substances and document nursing encounters using the SOAP form of charting. Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, and supervisory personnel. Provide patient education and activities while maintaining current licensure and CPR certification within the state of employment. Work 0.9 FTE across three rotating shifts weekly from 0630-1900, including rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification
- 0.9 FTE RN Days-3 shifts weekly
- 0630-1900 Rotating weekends Rotating holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
