Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate human responses to physical and emotional health problems by performing diagnostic and interventional radiographic and cardiologic examinations. Utilize radiation-producing equipment within established guidelines to serve adult and geriatric patients under the direction of licensed invasive radiologists, vascular surgeons, or invasive cardiologists. Maintain current New Jersey licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications while adhering to physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and exposure to varied temperatures and cleaning agents. Enroll in a BSN or MSN program within six months of hire to graduate by the third anniversary.
Required Qualifications
- BSN or MSN program enrollment within six months of hire or rehire
- Graduation from BSN or MSN program on or before the third employment anniversary date
- Critical Care Experience
- moderate sedation administration and monitoring experience
- Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing
- American Heart Association BLS
- American Heart Association ACLS
- One-year clinical experience in specialty area (for per diem positions)
Desired Qualifications
- BSN or MSN graduates
- National Certification in area of specialty (Radiology (CRN), Cardiology/Vascular (CV-BC), Critical Care (CCRN), Emergency Nursing (CEN))
